About

The Foundation for the Preservation and Advancement of Bridge (FPAB) was established in 2008 to address a variety of goals important to the continuation of the legacy of the great game of contract bridge:

  1. To preserve bridge history by collecting and displaying artifacts and stories under the aegis of the Bridge Museum located at the headquarters of the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL).
  2. To maintain and protect the vast literature of the game in the Contract Bridge Library, also housed at ACBL headquarters.
  3. To recognize individuals for their skills or service to bridge through the Bridge Hall of Fame.
  4. To encourage and inspire the participation of youth by means of scholarships and grants .

The FPAB is a 501(c)(3) organization governed by an independent Board of Trustees, which means that donations are tax deductible. To inquire, e-mail the foundation at fpab@acbl.org
