Albert H. Morehead Memorial Library
The Albert H. Morehead Memorial Library is the largest bridge library in the world, containing more than 2,500 different volumes. The library was dedicated by ACBL in memory of Albert Morehead, ACBL Hall of Fame member and bridge bibliophile. His collection of books provided the ACBL a solid foundation on which to build. .
Recognizing that the future and growth of bridge will be preserved through new players, new ideas and advancing technology, the FPAB supports youth activities by means of honoring their achievements in the museum gallery and supporting the participation of youth in bridge through scholarships and grants.
Hall of Fame
As in any sport, bridge has its share of heroes. Those who enter the Hall of Fame have helped make the game what it is today. Here you’ll find legendary players, tireless supporters of the game and generous spirits.
On November 22, 2008, The Foundation for the Preservation and Advancement of Bridge (FPAB) became the caretaker of the largest collection of trump indicators in the United States. The collection, generously donated by Joan and Elihu Schepps, is comprised of over 650 pieces and is now on display in the American Contract Bridge League Museum.
